Everybody say that u need Atleast 8 hours of sleep a day.but I wonder can this sleep be split, like 7 hours in the night and. 1 hr in the noon…sleeping in the day time day time aids muscle recovery?
Seven hours sleep for night will be good. Yeah one hour sleep in the day will be good for you. Rest for good phsique is much necessary.

sleeping is a natural requirement of the body and the duration of sleep keeps on reducing as the person grows elder.in the childhood child sleeps more than 12 hours and as he grows up the sleep reduces to 4-5 hours in the late ages, on an average 6-8 hours sleep is sufficient for a normal individual of young to middle age. There are lot of people those divide sleeping hour 2-3 spans, this normal just a habit.
